very unique and highly stylized late 1920's art deco ornamental cast aluminum hinged peephole door and grille with doorknocker. the remarkably well-designed machine age residential door hardware features lightly incised zigzags with stepped sun ray design motifs. the hinged door retains the original handle with latch. the doorknocker located on the exterior grille is in great working condition. the "jazz age" le moderne doorknocker set was manufactured by the victor mfg. company.
