all original c. 1920's finely crafted american folk art varnished oak wood cabinet. the fabricator or furniture maker is not known. the diminutive furniture piece contains no markings. the cabinet may have been used for jewelry or other small personal belongings. likely rested on a dresser or desk. the "stepped" profile pays tribute to the skyscraper style, which was a popular design used during that time period. the cabinet contains a small cabinet door with two flush mount brass hinges. the interior contains a small compartment with sliding drawer. the pulls or handles are comprised of bakelite. original darkly stained finish. the clear glass inset is original and free free from damage.
