original heavy duty c. 1930's american industrial repurposed stationary cast iron "salvage saw" factroy machine base ocsasinal table or display stand possibly designed and fabricated by or for the wardell mfg. co., cleveland, oh. the rounded edge tapered pedestal base has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the spacious square-shaped floor plate contains pre-drilled holes for anchoring into the floor. the crudely cast machine base was salvaged from a chicago area machine shop specializing in equipment refurbishment. the newly added solid walnut wood tabletop with beveled edge is securely fastened to the base. measures approximately 19 x 16 x 31 inches.
