unique and unusual vintage amercian industrial fully adjustable three-arm floor lamp modeled loosely from the iconic mid-century modern triennale floor lamp fabricated by the arteluce lighting company founded by aeronautical engineer and modern lighting pioneer gino sarfatti. the repurposed industrial lamp contains a cast aluminum base and telescoping post fabricated by or for the photogenic machine co., youngstown, oh. the three fully adjustable or articulating arms are equipped with original early 20th century o.c. white "knuckle joints" securely attached to the central post. the o.c. white wrist joints are affixed to yellow brass shell paddle sockets outfitted with brushed steel parabolic-shaped reflectors or shades. the lamp cord (not shown) consists of black rayon cloth wiring with newly added "vintage" plug. the iron and steel components have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the original hardened black rubber swivel casters are intact and fully functional. the base measures approximately 18 x 18 with a height of 66 inches.
