unusually designed all original antique american industrial four-legged adjustable height factory machinist stool designed and fabricated by the angled steel stool co., plainwell, mich. the all-riveted joint angled iron stool contains a uniform brushed metal finish that has been sealed with a clear coat lacquer. one of the four flared or outswept feet does contain some damage, but does not make the chair unstable. the highly desirable thin wood seat inset is bolted firmly in place. the plurality of perforated seat holes are arranged in a very pleasing and fanciful manner. the distinctive original detachable arch top backrest contains two pressed and folded cold-rolled steel or wrought iron panels riveted tightly against the surrounding angled frame. the leg extensions are equipped with multiple closely-spaced holes for achieving desired height. good overall condition, considering age. measures 37 inches high x 14 inches in diameter.
