single refinished c. 1925-1930 antique american industrial four-legged riveted joint heavy gauge steel stationary factory machinist or machine shop stool designed and fabricated by the angled steel company, plainwell, mich. the brushed metal american industrial stool is comprised of pressed and folded steel with extensive use of rivets throughout. the original solid oak wood seat is tightly affixed to the legs. the riveted and welded joint base with horizontal stretchers provides added stability. the circular-shaped seat is slightly sunken in the center (a part of the design). the industrial stool has been sealed with a clear coat lacquer. measures 26 inches high x 14 inches in diameter.
