original unrestored late 1880's antique american victorian era interior residential stained glass transom window designed and fabricated by the flanagan biedenweg company, chicago, il. the leaded art glass overhead window was salvaged from a chicago victorian cottage demolished long ago. the window contains a centrally located floral design with scrollwork. the window is accentuated with colorful diminutive jewels and two opposed oversized rondels.the gridded field pattern is comprised of multiple single color cathedral glass panels. the original painted wood sash frame is structurally sound and stable. hairline cracks, surface wear and residual paint evident. 40 in x 1 /2 in x 17 in.
