exceptional 19th century interior residential american victorian-era quarted carved oak wood pier mirror or console salvaged from a stately st. louis mansion undergoing interior renovations. the oversized pier mirrir retains the orignal heavy plates glass mirror with beveled edges. the protruding base features elaborate carving and diminutive spindles. the pier mirror was likely fabricated by or for the hornet mantel company, st. louis, mo. the darkly stained finish is mostly uniform throughout.
