single c. 1880's original antique american ornamental cast brass interior residential doorknob designed and fabricated by branford lock works, branford, ct. the dome-shaped doorknob with banded rim contains a distinctive repeating design that carries over onto the backside of the doorknob. the original baked black enameled inlay (used to accentuate the casting detail) is largely intact. the passage size doorknob remains in good condition, considering age. doorknob measures at 2 inch diameter.
