original late 1880's antique american eastlake style drum-shaped "bamboo" pattern oversized doorknob designed and fabricated by branford lock works, branford, ct. the single american aesthetic style doorknob contains a black enameled inlay (applied to the recessed regions) to accentuate the casting detail. the nicely aged surface patina has been left undisturbed. the recessed rim doorknob remains in great overall condition. salvaged from a chicago victorian residence. diameter measures 2.5 inches.
