c. 1870's glazed white porcelain commercial store door "pull" plaque featuring a union shield profile. the flush mount ceramic plaque was salvaged from an old chicago pharmacy (found on the original entrance door stowed away in the basement). the porcelain plaque retains the original hand-painted black & gold metallic enameled finish. possibly fabricated by the nashua lock company, nashua, nh. measures approximately 2 3/4 x 2 1/2 inches.
