completely intact c. 1930's depression era double-sided antique american illuminated ruby red exit light wall sconce fabricated in part by the kopp glass company, pittsburgh, pa. the enameled steel fitter is original to the wedge-shaped pressed glass shade. the flush mount exit light sconce contains bold white lettering on both sides of the globe or shade. the original single incandescent socket remains in working condition. the illuminated exit light was salvaged from a chicago area theater auditorium. the fixture was originally mounted above the fire exit doors leading to a drop-down fire escape on the building's exterior. only one available in this exact configuration. measures 9 x 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches.
