single vintage american industrial ceiling mount electric "exit" pendant light fixture salvaged from a chicago twine factory. the fixture was mounted above a door leading out to the exterior fire escape. the pipe and flange are comprised of steel. the fitter with socket housing is made of cast aluminum. the richly colored ruby red "jar" or pressed glass bulb guard is free from cracks. the pendant fixture has been lightly cleaned and rewired. the socket housing was fabricated by or for the multi electrical mfg. co., 703 fulton street, chicago, il. measures 20 inches tall
