early 1920's original and completely intact antique american industrial hubbell surface or wall-mount on/off toggle snap switch designed and fabricated by harvey hubbell inc., bridgeport, conn. the make and break of the circuit was advertised as "snappy." the completely enclosed switch was used in both residential and commercial and/or factory settings. the enclosure or housing is comprised of yellow brass with lightly incised manufacturer markings. the base plate is made of solid white ceramic with the original baked-on black glazed finish intact. great working condition. nicely aged surface patina. only one available. diameter of 2 1/4 inches
