fantastic c. 1930's american art deco style original and intact replacement pressed glass drop bowl likely fabricated by the consolidated glass company. the amber colored drop shade or bowl was originally designed for use with a single light ceiling fixture, possibly made by the lightolier company. the strongly geometric glass bowl features intricate wedge-shaped clusters of floral motifs. unique centrally located rosette with stepped or staggered octagon. the salvaged shade contains no markings. surface wear evident. free from cracks or breaks. measures 8 1/2 inches in diameter and 5 inches in height.
