original and intact late 1940's four-legged american industrial distressed red enameled machine shop stool designed and fabricated by the lyon metallic mfg. co., aurora, il. the pressed and folded stool is reinforced with multiple welded joint stretcher bars running horizontally between the legs. the spacious curved edge seat contains a multitude of perforations for ventilation purposes. the old red paint finish has been lightly cleaned. the diminutive steel disc "shoes" provide added support and stability. only only available in this exact configuration with a distressed red paint finish. measures 15 x 15 x 24 inches.
