late 1940's original vintage american industrial freestanding pressed and folded steel factory machine shop storage cabinet designed and fabricated by lyon metal products, aurora, il. the clean and compact factory furniture piece is comprised of cold-rolled heavy gauge sheet steel with a brushed metal finish sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the cabinet contains a single door with original and fully functional lever handle. the mostly uniform brushed or bare metal finish reveals any and all machine screws and the multitude of parts used to construct the cabinet. salvaged from a chicago plumbing parts supply company and factory. measures 21 1/2 x 16 x 34 1/4 inches.
