original american industrial pressed and folded riveted joint galvanized steel oversized tool chest or pipefitter's cabinet possibly fabricated by the union tool chest works, rochester, ny. the large cabinet retains the original lockable hasp and opposed drop handles made from bent solid steel rods. the galvanized steel chest has been brushed down to bare metal and treated with a clear coat lacquer. the interior compartment is very spacious and free from dividers of any kind. the chest was salvaged from a chicago area power plant. measures 30 1/2 x 19 1/2 x 16 1/4 inches.
