original early american vintage industrial bent tubular brass arm table or desk incandescent lamp fabricated by faries lighting co., decatur, il. the vintage banker's portable table lamp features a fanciful weighted spun yellow brass fluted base supporting a telescoping curved pipe or pole from which the light source and/or bracket slides and swivels in any and all directions. the weber key socket (containing lightly incised markings along the shell) retains the original shade fitter with fanciful set screws intact. the naturally aged surface patina remains untouched and/or altered. original emeralite green cased glass deep bowl conical shade with white reflective interior. rewired with period appropriate braided white cloth lamp cord. knurled edge friction dials original and intact. very desirable original oxidized copper stripe finish.
