original early 20th century vintage industrial early american office steel "daisy" paper waste basket. originally designed and patented by harry t. beatty and andrew reese for the massillion wire basket co., massillion, oh. the nicely worn and weathered wire basket with stamped steel base or bottom plate or pan remains in good shape, considering age. the lightweight basket was salvaged from a chicago office building along with several others concurrently listed.
