modified c. 1930's american vintage industrial heavy gauge angled steel factory machine shop work stand or side table with a newly added solid white oak wood tabletop. the four-legged base contains a largely intact red paint finish. the slightly flared steel channel legs are reinforced with multiple stretchers bolted tightly in place. an early hubbell on/off switch (likely used to with an electric machine for which the stand was built) was left intact. salvaged from an old chicago tool & die factory. measures 27 1/2 x 16 1/2 x 28 1/2 inches.
