original american industrial late 1940's pressed and formed steel four-legged stationary stool possibly fabricated by the royal metal mfg. co., chicago, il. the backless metal stool contains a mostly uniform red paint finish. the slightly outswept legs provided added support and stability. the horizontal stretchers are wrapped around on the outer or exterior side of each leg. good overall condition, considering age. measures approximately 11 x 11 x 24 inches.
