refinished c. 1940's vintage american industrial table or desk lamp designed and fabricated by the fostoria pressed steel co., fostoria, oh. the triple-joint adjustable arm task lamp contains a deep bowl reflector with tapered end. the ventilated socket housing retains the original red on/off toggle switch. the weighted cast iron base was likely added at a later point in time. the articulating american machinist lamp has been rewired with period appropriate braided cloth cord.
