c. 1910-20 american industrial freestanding interior department store revolving garment or clothes rack designed and fabricated by jas. b. williams, inc., new york city, new york. the "dorad" brand mid-sized mobile garment rack contains a bent tubular steel ring supported by four angled cast iron brackets. the original oversized cast iron ball finial is intact. the heavy gauge steel upright post is planted firmly within the weighted four-legged cast iron base containing "bassick" hardened rubber swivel casters. the antique american garment rack has been brushed from top to bottom and treated with a clear coat lacquer. measures 31 x 65 1/2 inches.
