one of two highly desirable original and completely intact triple-jointed fully adjustable early 1940's industrial "mekelite" designed and fabricated by mek-elek engineering ltd., london. the "deep bowl" diminutive lamp head or reflector retains the original white porcelain enameled interior finish. the base contains three screw holes for mounting flush against a table or workbench. the original army green baked-on paint finish has not been altered or cleaned. very unique and hard to find fixture intact and untouched. surface wear consistent with age. measures 7 inches wide and 24 inches high when fully extended. shade is 4 1/4 inches in diameter.
