original ben bernard breslow-designed art deco style jazz age lightweight cast aluminum apartment, office or residential entrance door peephole cover with combination doorknocker. the machine age two-part peephole cover or "inteviewer" contains a hinged door with diminutive latch that would be mounted on the interior side of the door. the exterior grille contain a doorknocker and a slot for a small label or placard containing address or name. the exceptional art deco door hardware remains in great overall condition. great uniform patina throughout. priced for the set.
