very unique and fully functional repurposed v-belt sheave block table or desk lamp with single paddle socket. the weighted solid steel multi-groove v-belt sheave was fabricated by the browning mfg. co., cleveland, oh. the custom-built angular shade with evenly spaced narrow slits is comprised of cedar wood. four bent steel rods support the shade that conceals the socket and incandescent light bulb. the diminutive lamp has been rewired with braided black cloth cord. measures approximately 13 1/2 inches high with a diameter of 5 inches.
