original c. 1920's american industrial reinforced heavy gauge steel factory lunchroom locker designed and fabricated by the durand steel locker company, inc., chicago, il. the freestanding brushed steel locker contains a single hinged door with sliding handle and louvered vents. the original oval-shaped cast brass identification tag with lightly incised numbers is riveted tightly against the door. the low-lying angled steel legs are structurally sound and stable. the spacious interior contains hooks for hanging clothing. the bare metal finish has been sealed with a clear coat lacquer. measures approximately 14 3/4 x 17 1/4 x 77 inches.
