original early 1930's american vintage industrial "no. 5429" pressed steel "slim helmet" or half reflector fabricated by the harvey hubbell, inc., bridgeport, ct. the unique reflector contains a patented socket ring or neck designed and patented in 1935 by charles theodore von holtz for hubbell. the ring can be tightly fastened to the socket, then turned relative to the shell to adjust the position of the reflector without loosening the socket shell. the reflector contains a factory green baked enameled finish with reflective white enameled underside. the fitter ring is comprised of brass with original nickel-plated finish. 5-1/2" x 3-3/4" x 3".
