c. 1910-15 original antique american industrial freestanding refinished pine and maple wood carpenters workbench designed and fabricated by the c. christiansen company, chicago, il. the nicely worn and weathered solid maple wood top contains multiple "dog holes" for tools, along with a tool well or clean-out ramp. the original fully functioning woodworking vise with intact turned handle remains in good working condition. the legs are reinforced with mortise and tenon horizontal stretchers. the angled or slanted front feet contains decorative wrought metal brackets for added support and rigidity. the table has been lightly sanded and sealed. 47 1/2 inches x 16 1/2 inches x 33 inches.
