all original vintage american industrial freestanding tubular steel office coat stand and/or hat rack, manufactured by the penn art steel works, eerie, pa. the thoroughly refinished all-metal coat rack retains the original oversized yellow brass double hooks affixed tightly against the pole. the supporting base contains a criss-cross configuration, with unique cast iron endcaps or "shoes." the topmost section contains a yellow brass ball finial. the coat rack measures 22 x 67 inches.
