all original and completely intact salvaged chicago dated 1887 eastlake-era oversized interior residential firepalce mantel designed and fabricated by or for the bruschke furniture company, chicago, ills. the solid cherry wood fireplace mantel retains the original curved top beveled edge mirror free from cracks or breaks. the mantel contains nicely turned spindles, shevles, supporting brackets, and curved edge header. the mantel contains an old paint finish that can be easily stripped to reveal the cherry wood detail. the mantel was salvaged from a chicago two-flat residence undergoing demolition.
