original 19th century antique american victorian era quarter-sawn oak wood interior residential fireplace mantel designed and fabricated by the foster-munger company, chicago, ills. the salvaged chicago half-mantel features two opposed fluted columns with egg and dart capitals and dentil molding along the shelf. the antique fireplace mantel is structurally sound and stable.
