late 1940's original american vintage industrial "factory green" painted portable tool chest or box with distinctive pyramidal-shaped top. the intact and functional multi-faceted pressed and folded steel toolbox was salvaged from a chicago twine factory complex. the multi-purpose tool chest contains a single drop handle and two working claps for securing the hinged top. the exact fabricator is not known. measures 15 x 7 1/2 x 9 inches.
