original c. 1930's american depression era riveted and welded joint heavy gauge steel four-legged stool with original solid maple wood swivel seat. the stationary factory machinist stool was designed and fabricated by the angled steel stool factory, plaiinwell, mich. the stool contains a brushed and sanded bare metal finish sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the all-welded joint heel ring is attached securely to the slightly flared base. the sanded and sealed maple wood swivel seat is supported by a solid threaded steel rod the moves up and down to achieve desired height. great overall condition. the seat moves and/or rotates with ease. base measures 17 inches, seat diameter measures 14 inches, seat height measures 23 inches with backrest at 27 1/2 inches.
