completely refinished antique american industrial depression era stationary four-legged tubular steel chairs designed and fabricated by the heywood-wakefield company, menominee, mi. the robust school chairs retain the original oversized solid maple wood "saddle" seats and matching slightly contoured backrests. the rigid steel frames have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the seats and backrests have been sanded and sealed. each chair contains an undershelf comprised of welded joint metal rods. very sleek and clean. priced individually. measures 15 3/4x16 3/4x31 3/4 inches seat height 18 inches
