lot of three matching original antique american ornamental cast iron interior residential passage door hinges possibly designed and fabricated by branford lock works, branford, ct. the decorative loose pin hinges contain ball hinges with one of the two having a threaded end (i.e., fixed in place). the refinished hinges originally contained several coats of paint that greatly obscured the bas-relief designed elements. a brass or possibly bronze-plated finish was likely as the original treatment or finish upon installation. the knuckles show very little wear. great overall condition. the brushed finish has been sealed with a clear coat lacquer. priced for the lot of three. measures 4 x 5 inches.
