original highly desirable c. 195-18 american industrial four-unit oversized locker designed and fabricated by the durand steel locker company, inc., chicago, il. the massive reinforced cold-rolled riveted joint locker was painstakingly brushed down to bare metal and thoroughly sealed with a clear coat lacquer. each unit contains a hinged door with original fanciful turned and tapered cast iron handle. the top and bottom contains louvered vents. the original lightly incised riveted joint brass tags are mounted at the top of each door. the low-lying angled steel legs are structurally sound and stable. the spacious interior contains multiple hooks designed and patented by walter n. vance. for hanging clothing. the industrial locker was salvaged from old chicago foundry lunchroom. only one locker in this configuration available. measures approximately 48 x 15 x 78 inches.
