late 1930's original antique american industrial cold-rolled steel stackable "art metal" chicago office building filing cabinet designed and fabricated by the art metal construction co., jamestown, ny. the four-unit factory office bookcase contains fully functional sliding metal drawers with original knob pulls. the stackable modules have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the riveted joint cabinet remains in great condition.
