very impressive early 20th century original and intact antique american wall-mount coat or hat rack salvaged long ago from a chicago hotel barbershop. the four matching oversized pivoting triple hooks are rather elegant in design and versatile in terms of overall function. the equally-spaced hooks are anchored against a bracket consisting of flat bar steel with riveted joints. the coat rack has been refinished and treated with a clear coat lacquer. traces of the original oxidized copper finish were left intact. possibly fabricated by the garcy hardware co., chicago, il.
