several matching c. 1930's antique american industrial reinforced folded and pressed cold-rolled steel factory workbench stackable hopper boxes or nesting bins designed and patented in 1930 by thomas shaw of woonsocket, rhode island. the all-welded multipurpose baked army green enameled "stackbins" allow for easy access to small parts and fasteners with a smooth interior and full-flow hopper front. the steel bins can be inter-stacked and are designed to support any weight that can fit within the cube of the container. the equally-spaced dividers are stationary. the bins contain label slots running vertically above each opening. the 8-unit bins were manufactured by the stackbin corp., pawtucket, ri. large quantity available. priced for the lot of eleven. salvaged from a recently shuttered chicago area factory. measures 37 x 8 1/4 x 46 inches.
