complete set consisting of two late 19th century ornamental cast bronze interior residential passage door backplates and matching radially fluted doorknobs. the antique american victorian door hardware was fabricated by the yale & towne mfg. co., stamford, ct. both doorknobs and backplates contains a mostly uniform (and naturally aged) surface patina. priced for the set. salvaged from a chicago graystone residence built around 1891. backplates measure approximately 8 x 2 3/4 inches and doorknobs measure 2 1/8 inches in diameter.
