original antique american eastlake style 19th century interior residential ornamental cast brass "broken leaf" pattern doorknob designed and manufactured by the lockwood mfg. co., south norwalk, ct. the sought after doorknob pattern was used quite extensively in the 1880's during the american aesthetic movement. the dome-shaped, banded rim doorknob remains in great condition, with a nicely aged surface patina. priced individually. each knob measures 2 1/4 inches in diameter.
