original 19th century antique american eastlake style passage size "ceylon" pattern doorknob designed and fabricated by the p. & f. corbin company, new britain, ct. several variations of this pattern were produced, both in shape and style. the passage size knob is comprised of wrought brass with a nicely aged surface patina. the drum-shaped doorknob is harder to come by then its dome-shaped counterpart. several matching doorknobs available in this pattern and configuration. the drum-shaped doorknob measures approximately 2 1/4 inches in diameter.
