one of two matching all original and fully functional early 20th century antique american industrial green painted heavy gauge cold-rolled steel riveted joint "berloy" brand locker designed and fabricated by the berger mfg. co., canton, oh. the heavily compartmentalized locker features 8 matching vertical doors with lockable hasps and/or handles and louvered vents. the top or overhead module has 2 rows of four compact units with diminutive hinged doors and louvered vents. the older green paint finish is largely intact. the original riveted joint brass number plaques are mounted firmly against each door. a total of three matching lockers in this exact configuration were salvaged from a south side chicago factory that specialized in the fabrication of automotive parts. priced individually.
