fanciful original american antique art deco depression era electric slip shade ceiling fixture replacement bottom finial possibly designed and fabricated by or for j. c. virden or the mid-west chandelier company. the perforated bottom finial is comprised of cast brass with light surface oxidation evident. the diminutive light fixture finial contains a unique "sun ray" design emanating outward. good overall condition with original finish.
