c. 1930's vintage medical pressed and folded heavy gauge furniture steel mobile cart fabricated by the american metal furniture inc., indianapolis, ind. the angled steel leg cart contains a single pull-out drawer with original streamlined handle or pulls. the metal table top retains the original white porcelain enameled finish. the three-sided rail guard is comprised of thin strap metal affixed to the sides of the cart. salvaged from a cook county hospital operating room. brushed metal finish. original swivel casters intact and in working condition. measures 20 x 16 x 32 1/4 inches.
