completely intact and all original 1920's-early 1930's antique american industrial green porcelain enameled pendant light manufactured for chicago based benjamin electric manufacturing company. the type "rr" cold-rolled steel "standard" bowl-shaped reflector retains the original robust vitreous or porcelain enameled finish over steel, with white reflective coating along the underside. the tapered socket housing contains a single ceramic socket. the fixture retains the original threaded steel post or pipe with unique ball and socket joint ceiling "cap" or flange, allowing the pendant to swivel. measures 18 inches in diamter x 19 inches in height.
