one of four all original and completely functional early 20th century single electric "school house" style pendant light fixtures salvaged from an a. finkl administration office building shortly before it was demolished. the ceiling mount fixture contains a silver metallic spun steel fitter and interconnected canopy with "screw less" patented attachment for adding or removing shade. the white opalescent or "milk glass" globe has a classic utilitarian profile seen in commercial settings throughout the county. the c. 1915-20 light fixture was designed and fabricated by or for r. williamson & company, chicago, il. the shade is free from breaks or cracks. priced individually. measures 10 inches wide x 11 1/2 inches high. base is 6 inches in diameter.
