early 20th century vintage industrial ornamental wrought iron exterior sign bracket containing fanciful scroll work. the bracket was mounted against the facade of an old building housing a dental office prior to removal. unfortunately, the original porcelain enameled hanging sign was lost long ago, only to be replaced with die cut sheet steel containing indecipherable hand-painted lettering. the bracket was fabricated around 1910-20 by the baltimore enamel & novelty co., baltimore, md. the bracket and hanging sign have been thoroughly refinished. the original wrought iron straps are bolted tightly to the existing sign. measures 33 x 32 inches.
